DIY Cheer Team Gifts

DIY

Are you responsible for putting together goodie bags for a cheer team? Or are you looking for a few inexpensive gift ideas for a special cheerleader in your life? Well, I’m here to help! In today’s post, I am sharing six simple, personalized cheer gifts that can be made using a Cricut machine and a few blanks from a popular online retailer.

Cheerleader Survival Kit

For this simple project, I purchased simple black pouches and glitter heat transfer vinyl (HTV) in team colors. Using my Cricut machine, I cut out the text Cheerleader Survival Kit and the name of each cheerleader and used my Cricut Easy Press Mini to apply the vinyl to the pouches.

These can be filled with things a cheerleader may need on competition day, including: personalized compact mirrors, bandaids, bobby pins, deodorant, hairspray, gum, or other items that might come in handy.

Personalized Sleep Mask

I cut the text Dreaming of Zero Deductions out of teal HTV and used my Cricut Easy Press Mini to attach the vinyl to plain black sleep masks.

Personalized Compact Mirrors

I found compact mirrors that were the perfect blank for glittery shimmer adhesive vinyl. I cut out each cheerleader’s name and adhered it to the outside of the mirror.

Personalized Acrylic Keychains

Acrylic keychains can easily be personalized with names and team colors for any cheer team. Since the colors for this team were black, teal, and pink, I decided to cut the names out of black shimmery vinyl and add a teal tassel.

Customized Notebook

This cheer team has a special chant that they say before each competition so I thought it would be fun to add that chant to a simple notebook.

I cut the chant out of matte black vinyl and added it to the front of the notebook. Then I cut the team name out of pink shimmery vinyl in a larger text and added that to the notebook as well.

Printable Candy Tags

I purchased these printable tags from the shop TeamMomBoutique on Etsy. I printed them out and attached the tags to packages of Pop Rocks that I purchased in bulk.
