Dollar Tree Christmas DIYs: Volume 1
Christmas items have arrived at Dollar Tree and all of the festive colors and tinsel have inspired me to transform a few of their inexpensive items into holiday home decor pieces that match my style.
Mini Stocking Display
This simple DIY was created using a hanging house and wooden plaque from Dollar Tree, three cozy stocking ornaments from Dollar General, and a wooden candle holder.
I painted the house with Moss chalk paint from Waverly and used Antique wax on the candlestick and oval plaque.
I finished the design by adding a vinyl decal that I cut using my Cricut machine.
Santa’s Workshop Crate Stand
The great thing about this Dollar Tree DIY stand is that the signs are attached with magnets so they can easily be changed for each season.
I used a giant craft stick from Walmart to create the sign for the top and used wooden letters from Michaels to make the word “Workshop.”
The tiny chalkboard sign on the front came in a pack of four from Dollar Tree and I used my Cricut machine to cut the text out of white vinyl.
I purchased the lights, snow globe, and gift embellishments at Hobby Lobby, and most of them were on sale.
Double-Sided Snow Globe Sign
Would you have guessed that this snow globe came from Dollar Tree? As soon as I saw it in the store, I fell in love with the shape but knew I wanted to give it a makeover.
Initially, I was just going to put a design on one side of the globe but I could not choose between two images that I liked so I decided to make it double-sided.
I am so happy with the way it turned out and I cannot pick a favorite side!
Window Wreath Display
I purchased this wreath on a whim at Target several weeks ago and I am so happy with that decision.
I created a window pane out of Dollar Tree canvases and attached the wreath to the window using wired jute twine. I added gold bells from Hobby Lobby to the middle of the wreath and I am in love with the end result!
