Dollar Tree Fall DIY Decor
Although the weather in my area still says it's summer, the store shelves tell me that fall is right around the corner so I decided to get started on my first round of fall Dollar Tree DIYs. I wasn’t quite ready to go all in with pumpkin decor so these projects are a nice mix of pumpkins and other fall themes, including apples and mushrooms.
Dollar Tree Leaf Upgrade
While I’m out shopping, I like to keep an eye out for items with interesting shapes, even in the pattern is not my favorite. That was precisely the case with this leaf from Dollar Tree. When I saw it in the store, I fell in love with the shape of the leaf but it had a busy pattern so I peeled off the patterned paper. After giving it a few coats of cinnamon-colored acrylic paint and adding a vinyl decal, this busy leaf fit perfectly into my existing home decor.
Window Cling Projects
I had fun thinking outside the box when it came to an adorable sheet of fall window clings from Dollar Tree. I painted the back of a circular sign and it became the perfect backdrop for this neutral pumpkin window cling.
Mushroom Cloche
This adorable cloche is my favorite project out of this round of fall Dollar Tree DIYs. I love how fun and whimsical it looks when it is lit up at night.
Mushroom Wreath
I added a bit of fall flair to a simple grapevine wreath with some Dollar Tree mushrooms, eucalyptus, and floral moss.
Mini Caramel Apples
I was inspired to make these fun decorative treats by various versions I have seen floating around the internet. While they might look challenging, these caramel apples were very simple to make and can be personalized in many ways.
Apple/Pumpkin Stand
I created this interchangeable stand a few months ago and since then, I have had fun changing it to correspond with the seasons.
Fall Truck Cutting Board
As soon as I saw this truck at Dollar Tree, I knew I wanted to take it home and give it a makeover. I love the dimension and texture that the pumpkins, eucalyptus, and Spanish moss add to this piece.
