Quick + Easy Valentine DIYs

DIY

One of the best things about Valentine decorations is that they bring new life to spaces that look bare after Christmas decor has been put away.

With a few inexpensive items from Dollar Tree, Target, and other craft stores, you can create custom pieces of Valentine decor to add pops of pink and red to your home.

Valentine Dough Bowl

The greenery in this piece came from several Christmas picks that were purchased on clearance at Walmart. For the subtle pop of Valentine decor, hearts were cut out of cardboard and wrapped in pink, white, and tan yarn.

Kissing Booth Crate Stand

Styling a tiered tray is a fun way to change up your home decor for each season. This Kissing Booth fits perfectly on a tiered tray and was made using mostly Dollar Tree items. The best part about the stand is that the signs are attached with magnets so they can be easily changed as you modify your decor.

Beaded Love Text

A simple Dollar Tree sign was transformed into an elegant piece of Valentine decor with the help of Mod Podge and a variety of sequins and seed beads from Dollar Tree, Michaels, and Walmart.

Valentine Family House

After getting a coat of Antique Wax from Waverly, the front of this Dollar Tree house was painted with Plaster chalk paint and distressed with a sanding sponge. Family member names and a Dollar Tree heart were added as a finishing touch.

Valentine Crate

This Target Dollar Spot crate was filled with various red, pink, and white DIY embellishments as well as a free vintage Valentine printable.

Yarn-Wrapped XO

Dollar Tree letters were given a makeover with pink and white yarn to create a custom look without spending a lot of money.
